Movie news from October 17 through October 21

On Monday October 17,Tom Holland (The New Spider-Man) has announced that he may not be in Avengers: Infinity War. This could be because Marvel and Sony are still co-owners of Spider-Man. Sony holds most of the chips in this deal and aren’t being negotiable. But its very unlikely that Spider-Man won’t be in Avengers: Infinity War. Although Holland is only 20 years old and may not know all the details. Warner Bros. has announced that this November’s “Fantastic Beasts and where to find Them” may feature a certain Hogwarts professor. In case you didn’t get it Dumbledore is going to be in this movie. They’ve also announced that this is supposed to set up a five movie franchise, although when they announced Max Steel, they thought that would be a trilogy, and that movie is not fairing very well at the box office to take this with a grain of salt. Another Warner Bros. movie announcement, Zack has stated that at one point he wanted Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play the Dark Knight instead of Thomas Wayne. Dean Morgan has stated that if DC and Warner Bros. can figure some stuff out, he would be willing to play a “Flashpoint Paradox” version of Batman. Something that I’m very excited about is the new Transformers movie “Transformers: The Last knight” please check the poster out it is amazing. Anyway, Michael Bay has announced that two familiar faces will be coming back to the franchise. John Turturro and John Goodman are reprising their roles as Agent Simmons and Hound. Unfortunately, people aren’t has excited about this as me. These are great actors in an unfortunate position. Michael Bay needs to know one thing. This movie i called TRANSFORMERS, not Transformers plus 4 or 5 annoying humans.
On Tuesday October 18, 20th Century Fox has released the second trailer for “Assassin’s Creed”. Now the first AC trailer was great minus the stupid Kanye music, this trailer again great visuals and idea but again is stumped by the music choice, so if you watch the trailer play any AC soundtrack over the music instead.

The recently casted Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) has announced that filming for the new solo Batman movie (The Batman) will begin next spring and will be released in 2018. If you’re a DC fan you should be ecstatic about this news especially with Ben Affleck behind the camera. Coming out in the theaters this week is the new Tom Cruise Film, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, “Jack Reacher must uncover the truth behind a major government conspiracy in order to clear his name. On the run as a fugitive from the law, Reacher uncovers a potential secret from his past that could change his life forever.” in case you couldn’t tell that was the synopsis. Some very exciting news, after Disney released the final trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, they also released the new character posters for the film. When you look at their faces, look closely at their faces and you can see the plans for the Death Star are scattered across their faces.
On Wednesday October 19, the first story of the day is very short, Disney has acquired the rights to “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”. Not a lot to talk about considering it was just released, but hopefully they tread lightly with this considering that Gene Wilder (the originally Willy Wonka) has passed on. Very exciting news, Marvel has released the new teaser trailer and poster for “Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2” This trailer is the perfect trailer to get you excited for the new film, the funniest part of this trailer is honestly, when Drax is talking to Star-Lord, i won’t say much JUST WATCH IT. One more thing, when you look at the poster just look at Star-Lord’s foot and you’ll see something you’ll like, this will be released on May 5, 2107. This week is the 10th year anniversary of the film “The Prestige”. Take a moment and look this movie up, actually don’t I’ll do it for you, this film is directed by Christopher Nolan, stares Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Anthony Hopkins, Scarlett Johansson, David Bowie, and Andy Serkis, just to name a few. Do yourself a favor and watch this now.
On Thursday October 20, 20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the solo Wolverine movie, “Logan”. This trailer by far may be the best trailer of the year. This is the last time Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine. Now in case you didn’t know this movie will take place after “Xmen: Days of Future Past”

in the near future. Sorry to ramble on about the but, this is the last time Hugh “The Jacked” Jackman will play the role, so take that into account while watching this trailer and the movie. 20th Century Fox and the director Tim Miller, have release information about the upcoming Deadpool 2 in the means of casting. They’re now casting the role of Domino, there top choices are

Lizzy Caplan, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Sienna Miller, Sofia Boutella, Stephanie Sigman and Sylvia Hoeks; we are still waiting on news about Cable but that will come sooner rather than later. My choice for the role is Lizzy Caplan, she’s funny enough to go toe too toe with Cable and Deadpool.

On Friday October 21, James Wan, (the director of the new Aquaman movie) has told Entertainment Weekly that this Aquaman movie will have around the same tone as “Raider of the Lost Ark” he said that it you will have a swashbuckling feeling while watching this movie, hopefully it will be as scary as James Wan’s other movies. The final trailer for Denis Villeneuve‘s sci-fi mystery Arrival has been released. The movie tells the story of mysterious spacecrafts touching down across the globe, with an elite team lead by expert linguist Louise Banks, played by Amy Adams, brought in to investigate. The movie also stars Jeremy Renner, Forest Whitaker and Michael Stuhlbarg and is scheduled for release on November 11th. Another sci-fi movie around autumn this is the best time to release a movie like this, with Halloween around the corner the spooky idea of aliens always does the trick. I know everyone will be happy to hear this……. Star Wars news, Joss Wheadon has recently stated that he would love to direct Star Wars film, if it took lace in a smaller setting, incase you didn’t get that he doesn’t want to do any main episodes, something like Rogue One, maybe even smaller. Now hopefully you know that Joss Wheadon is responsible for the first “Avengers” movie and for “Age of Ultron”, if you recall after the movie was finished, Joss said that the process of having to connect every little detail wasn’t really his style and mad problems for the movie. Remember, Disney owns Star Wars and Marvel so hopefully Mr.Whedon won’t have any falling outs with Disney again. Even if he does get a job it probably won’t be for a while.

Now this is defiantly the best news to come out about Star Wars this week, they’ve finally casted a young Lando Calrissian………

Lando Calrissian will be played by Donald Glover. Donald Glover was my first choice to play Lando, so obviously Disney was listening to me. Anyway, on with the details, Donald Glover will be staring with Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo. That’s all the news for movies this week come back on Monday To hear about what happened on the weekend.
